This article is going to try to sell you something and I do hope that if you are a small to mid-sized company you don’t let that turn you off and read the rest of this article.  I have been selling business software to manufacturers and distributors for 20 years.  If I am selling into the small to mid-sized companies, I often find that the reason they need new software is because they can’t function on their old legacy system.
