I am pleased that we had so much interest in our presentation of CADLink to Dynamics AX. Of course CADLink works with Dynamics NAV, Acumatica and most all ERP solutions even though the ones we represent are the best! CADLink is important to us because the customers and prospects at Clients First are either a MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) in the aviation or heavy equipment industry or they are a complex discrete manufacturer. Even our MRO clients have a CAD and BOM requirement since they often are re-engineering and re-manufacturing engines, turbines or other equipment.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV makes work processes almost painless through new features in the 2016 version like posting previews and workflows. NAV workflows ensure your business follows best practices by automating approval requests and request notifications. What makes this functionality even more impressive in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016, is that your business can use more than 20 workflow templates to connect business processes according to best practices.
Anyone with appropriate permissions can design a workflow by creating or modifying workflow steps and selecting from lists of events and responses. A workflow designer can build sophisticated workflows, without the need of adding application code. For example your sales team would like to sell a finished good that has slim margins since they have some latitude on pricing. However, if they price an item below a certain margin percentage a workflow could kickoff that would require the controller, sales manager and/or the CFO to approve the order prior to shipping. This is especially important to manufacturing companies and of course any distributor.
Our own, Hope Enochs, helped complete Pillars of Hope in East Texas. The purpose of the project was to bring life and color to the area where so many
ministries serve the homeless in Tyler, Texas. Spearheaded by Stephanie Vasso: Hope and Kerian Massey, also, started working on the pillars of hope in late October with a partnership between TxDOT, the City of Tyler, and the Highway 80 Rescue Mission.“I just noticed these columns and they were so sterile, and yet there was so much beauty going on down here. Nothing excites me more than the resurgence of US manufacturing. It’s comeback has a multiplier effect on the US economy, for every dollar in final sales of manufactured products, $1.33 goes into output. This effect accounts for the largest multiplier of any sector in the economy. I came across this article by Seeking Alpha and condensed it below. The article describes the continued growth in US manufacturing.
More than anything, I want to champion strong, smart and courageous women. I polled far and wide to find such women in the manufacturing industry. While most industries are split along the same fifty-fifty line of the population, manufacturing’s population of women is only about 25%.
